- This is a Sources Sought for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is performing market research to identify companies interested and capable of providing Integrated Pest Control Management and Services at VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS). Description of requirement and submittal requirements are as follows: Description: Government seeks contractor to provide Pest Control Services related to Integrated Pest Control Management (IPM), Recurring Services, Urgent Emergency Services, and Unscheduled Work Order for the VA Palo Alto Health Care System and related satellite facilities, Menlo Park, Livermore, Capitola, Fremont, San Jose, Monterey, and Mountain View. Contractor s company shall possess a valid State of California Structural Pest Control certification before any consideration is given, please provide this data when responding to this sources sought notice. This is for a Base Year Plus Four Option Years contract. Please note that this Sources Sought Notice is for information only and does not constitute a solicitation for competitive bids/proposals. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government; however, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirement are invited to submit information describing their capability to provide the required services. There is no solicitation document as this time. The NAICS is 561710 with Small Business size of $17.5M million. NOTE: Please ensure that System For Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov) indicates this NAICS code if you are interested in the requirement. Only firms seriously interested and truly capable should send their information and capability statement by email to kulvinder.brar@va.gov no later than 3:00 PM Pacific Time, March 8th, 2024. Response Method: The Government requests capability statements and comments from interested businesses regarding the requirements described above. Responsible sources are encouraged to submit a response to this notice with a statement of interest on company letterhead. At a minimum, the following information shall be provided: Please include the follow information about your organization in your response (1) Name of Organization, (2) Address + Zip Code, (3) Telephone number, (4) Fax Number, (5) Size of Business: Large or Small, (6) SAM status, (7) Point(s) of contact, and (8) email address. (9) Provide a summary of the type of services performed and experience as it relates to Pest Control Services. Failure to provide the following information completely and accurately may result in a determination that your company is not a viable source. Before responding please carefully read and consider the following: Service-disabled veteran owned small business (SDVOSB) or Veteran owned small business (VOSB) concern must be registered and verified in VA's Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database at www.vip.vetbiz.gov to be eligible for award as a SDVOSB or VOSB if/when a solicitation is issued for this requirement as a SDVOSB or VOSB set aside. As this is a service acquisition, the Small Business Administration and the Federal Acquisition Regulation have a Limitations on Subcontracting requirement. For all small businesses, to include SDVOSB and VOSB, At least 50 percent of the cost of contract performance incurred for personnel shall be expended for employees of the concern.
