- This is a sources sought announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified potential offerors. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Government is not obligated to, nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The Richmond VA Medical Center (VAMC), 1201 Broad Rock Blvd, Richmond, Virginia 23249 is seeking potential sources capable of de-icing roadways and parking lots at the facility with the total surface equaling 2,746,264 square feet. Applicable NAICS Code is 561730 with a size standard of $9.5 million. Classification code is S218. Responses to this sources sought notice should include the following: 1. Company Name and Unique Entity ID 2. POC information 3. Business size and socio-economic classification (to be considered an SDVOSB/VOSB; contractor must already be verified in SBA VetCert Veteran Small Business Certification (sba.gov) ) 4.
