- Special Notice Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Procurement The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 17, intends to conduct a sole source award action with Quest Diagnostics for the following services: Blanket Purchase Agreement 36C25721A0006. The proposed modification is to add the following tests to the BPA: Aspergillus DNA, RTPCR, CPT: 87798(x3), Est. Annual Quantity: 20; Boron, Blood, CPT: 86316, Est. Annual Quantity: 20; Chromogranin A, LC/MS/MS, CPT: 86316, Est. Annual Quantity: 100; Epidermal Antibodies with Reflex, CPT: 86255(x2), Est. Annual Quantity: 20; IMPAC, Pumpkin Seed (F226), CPT: 86003, Est. Annual Quantity: 15; Leukocyte Adhesion Deficiency (LAD) Eval., CPT: 88184, 88185, Est. Annual Quantity: 10; Myelin Oligo Glycoprotein (MOG) Ab (CSF), CPT: 86362. Est. Annual Quantity: 50; Trypanosoma cruzi AB, CPT: 86753, Est. Annual Quantity: 15; Very Long Fatty Acids, CPT: 82726, Est. Annual Quantity: 100; Voltage Gated Potassium Chanel (VGKC) Ab, CPT: 83519, Est. Annual Quantity: 100; Zolpidem, Quantitative, Urine, CPT: 80368, Est. Annual Quantity: 150; Mycoplasma/Ureaplasma Panel, CPT: 87563, 87798(x3), Est. The proposed modification will also revise the BPA price list to increase some quantities of tests due to anticipated test quantities exceeding the estimated quantities. The proposed modification will also increase the funding of the current BPA Task Order, 36C25722N0061, to include funding for the aforementioned new tests and for the increased quantities of tests due to anticipated test quantities exceeding their estimated quantities. This notice is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. A contract will not be awarded based on an offer received in response to this notice. If no affirmative written response is received within 7 business days from the publication of this notice, the proposed modification request will be forwarded to Quest Diagnostics without any further notice.
