Description

Marine Corps Base Hawaii is issuing this Sources Sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify interested parties to support the requirement of procuring standing, walk-through metal detectors for rental, delivery, set-up, trainer-led instruction for use, and breakdown 11 - 14 August 2022, including: A. Rental, installation and breakdown of: a) Eight (8) standing, walk-through metal detectors with capability to ignore cell phones b) Fifteen (15) security wands B. Training of designated personnel on operation and control of: a) Walk-through metal detectors B) Security wands The result of this market research Sources Sought notice will contribute toward determination of the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 334519. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for information does not constitute a request for quotes; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services and supplies, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name; Cage Code; email address; website address; point(s) of contact; size and type of ownership for the organization (Small Business, Large Business, SBA socioeconomic participations applicable to NAICS 334519); and 2) a capability statement addressing the requirements of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting organizational and staff capability and appropriate response time for emergency calls to MCBH. BASED ON THE RESPONSES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE SOLICITED ORALLY AND MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions. Submission Instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the above-listed services are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought notice by 26 May, 2022 @ 5:00 p.m. HST.
