- Page 2 of 2 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15 intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Sysmex America, Inc. Located at 577 Aptakisic Road, Lincolnshire, IL 66069. Sysmex America, Inc. will provide Integrated Slide Processing System to include Equipment/Hardware, Advanced RBC Software, remote Review Software, Cellavision Analyzer, and Slide Barcode Label Printer. the CorPath GRX System including interventional Cockpit manufactured by Corindus. Corindus equipment is proprietary and may only be purchased through Corindus. Alliant Healthcare has an exclusive partnership with Corindus and is the exclusive sole source provider of Corindus products to the Federal Government The place of performance is at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veteran Hospital located at 800 Hospital Dr. Columbia, MO 65201 The NAICS code is 334516 with a size standard of 1000 employees. The solicitation number is 36C25521Q0210. This action will result in a firm-fixed price one-time purchase. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement NLT March 19, 2021 at 3:00 PM CST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to Announcement, Notice of Intent. If after March 19, 2021 no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, Department of Veterans Affairs shall negotiate solely with Alliant Enterprises. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted.
