- Description
- NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE. The FAA intends to award a single source purchase order to Teledyne Microwave Solutions, LLC to repair a total of six (each) Etubes P/N: 187800, NSN: 5690-01-319-5632. Teledyne Microwave Solutions is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the Etube�and is the only known source that can repair the Etube to a fully mission capable status.� Additionally, the Etube is a crucial component to the ASDE ground radar systems being used in the nation's busiest airports to ensure the safety of the flying public. Due to long lead times, and to avoid the potential shortage of available replacement stock the FAA can provide to airports immediately when needed, this work is therefore also determined to be Urgent and Compelling.�� Estimated award date of purchase order is on or around 5/5/2021. Please forward all questions and concerns to the POC of this announcement no later than 4PM (Central) on 5/4/2021.�
