- Purpose: �The Army Contracting Command New Jersey (ACC-NJ), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ �07806-5000 is conducting a Market Survey on behalf of the Joint Program Manager Office Towed Artillery Systems (PM-TAS) to provide the Warfighter with direct, reinforcing, and general support towed artillery fires to maneuver forces. PM TAS also provides direct support artillery for the Stryker and Infantry Brigade Combat Teams and is responsible for Towed Howitzers, Howitzer Digital Fire Control Systems, Gun Laying/Surveying and Non-Standard Weapons. The Project Manager Towed Artillery Systems requires personnel to conduct support services associated with multiple platforms in its portfolio. Description: This Sources Sought is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or an obligation on the part of PM-TAS.� The Government is interested in acquiring personnel to conduct support services associated with many different platforms within its portfolio. These services include; 1) Management, Organization, and Business Improvement Services (MOBIS) support required for the successful execution of their ammunition and weapon system acquisition mission.� 2) Professional engineering services that will support professional engineering and related technical program management and product assurance and testing/proving for the successful execution of their ammunition and weapon system acquisition mission.� 3) Information Technology (IT) support required for the successful execution of their weapon system acquisition mission. 4) International Program Support required for the successful execution of their weapon system acquisition mission. �This support will augment existing resources with experience and capability which either is not available or exceeds in-house capabilities. � If available, interested vendors should provide an analysis of the key tradeoff between key physical/performance characteristics, as well as the estimated cost for each labor category presented.� Please see attachment for labor categories.� Submissions that are not fully compliant with all requirements are also encouraged so that PM-TAS may assess the capabilities of all currently available sources. �Participation in this Sources Sought is completely voluntary by the vendor and as such all costs to develop the vendor�s response are to be borne by the participating vendor. �All interested sources are encouraged to submit their abilities/capabilities no later than 14 days from date of this publication to: Joseph Rossano ACC-NJ-JA Bldg. 9, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000; email: Joseph.d.Rossano.civ@mail.mil.
