Description

The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground � Natick Contracting Division on behalf of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities and Development Command (CCDC), Combat Feeding Directorate (CFD) intends to procure on a sole source basis under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements � A Sanitation System, Model TSSG-1006. The Sanitation System will be tested and evaluated and upon successful test results will transition to the NEFKS project for integration into the NFEKS for the Navy Expeditionary Combat Command. BERG Manufacturing, Inc. is the only manufacturer that makes the compact sanitation system that encompasses a tank-less hot water heater and a grease trap with three sink compartments. This will allow field feeding in the Navy Expeditionary Combat Command to perform their subsistence feeding mission without having any issues with improper sanitation of mess gear and meet all requirements in the TRI-Service Food Code Manual. Specifications include: -Tank-less hot water heater -Grease trap -Drying rack -Immersion hot water heater -Dimensions: 30 inches depth, 67 inches in height including the drying rack, and 48 inches in width -Power Requirement: 208 Volt, 60 Hertz, 3 Phase Natick Contracting is anticipating awarding this contract to BERG Manufacturing, Inc. 6811 E Mission Ave, Spokane Valley, WA, 99212-1152. BERG Manufacturing, Inc. is the only known source that can provide the Sanitation System, Model TSSG-1006, and it is proprietary to BERG Manufacturing, Inc. A Firm Fixed Price Contract will be issued.
