- Description
- This is a Sources Sought Notice for the purposes of conducting market research and obtaining industry information ONLY. Proposals are NOT being requested nor accepted at this time. The purpose of this notice is to locate interested, capable Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business Sources. The United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) will use information obtained through this synopsis as well as other market research to develop an acquisition strategy. The USFWS anticipates soliciting and awarding (1) one Firm-Fixed price design-build construction contract to rebuild and retrofit the Gamble Pump Station at Toppenish National Wildlife Refuge near Toppenish, WA. This station pumps up to 15 cfs of Toppenish Creek water into Gamble Ditch to irrigate Refuge wetland units. The primary project components involve rebuilding two pumps and replacing outdated fish screens. The current pump system includes one 10 hp pump and one 20 hp pump, and rebuilt pumps will need the capability of pumping a maximum of 15 cfs while also be capable of pumping lesser amounts of 5 cfs and 10 cfs when Toppenish Creek water levels are lower. New fish screens need to be self-cleaning and meet state standards, including a surface area of at least 375 square feet. The project also requires securing the necessary permits to complete construction, and the desired timeline for completed construction is September 2020. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code will be 237110 Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction. The small business size standard is $39.5 Million. Only Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) concerns are invited to respond to this notice. Interested firms are requested to respond to this notice by furnishing the following information by 05/15/2020: 1) Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, and email address.
