Description
Description: This requirement is for a firm-fixed price contract with 1 - 1 year Option for an C-17 Support Equipment - Reference Standard - Carbon Epoxy, Secondary Bond; NSN: 6635-01-458-4543 BA; Part Number 17G110485-1. The Basic is for Qty of 4 each (includes first article), Test Plan (1 LO), and Test Report (1 LO). The 1 - 1 year Option is based on Qty range of 1-2 each. The item is used to detect anomalies within a part, with secondary bonded structure, the display of the inspection unit will show three reflections, the front surface, the bond line and the back surface. An anomaly within the part, such as a disbond at the bondline, will cause the back surface reflection to diminish or disappear completely. During the equipment set up for the inspection, the display on the inspection unit must be adjusted to provide the sensitivity necessary to distinguish the three required reflections. This requirement will be a set-aside for Small Business. Offerors; offeror shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFQ. All responsible Small Business sources may submit a proposal to be considered by the contracting agency. The Government will utilize the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS), Excluded Parties List System (EPLS), and other Government databases to determine contractor status before evaluating proposals. Proposal will be evaluated based on criteria stated in the RFQ. We anticipated release of the RFQ on or around 5 September 2018 with an estimated response date of 5 October 2018. The RFQ and all attachments will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities webpage (http://www.fbo.gov/).
