Description
The purpose of this amendment is to post more questions and answers. Q1 - Who will design and build the concrete pad for the AWG? A1 - Det 3 will design and construct the pad. I will be overall responsible for siting and design. My CE maintenance team will accomplish the site prep and pad construction. Q2 - Who will supervise the installation of the AWG to include plumbing and electrical? A2 - Det 3 will be using our in-house plumber and electricians to connect the AWG to an existing potable water pumping station. We are prepared to address the installation and startup with our own resources. Q3 - Can you be more specific of the exact location of the AWG to be installed? A3 - The current proposed location is on the west side of Booster Pump Station (BPS) No. 3, Bldg. 30 (see attached map). Our initial survey indicated that BPS No. 3 has sufficient connectivity to power and water to support the AWG with minimal installation effort and expense from Det 3. There is sufficient space within the security fence to accommodate the unit. The elevation of BPS No. 3 is approximately 1050 feet above sea level. We initially proposed installing the AWG at a higher elevation (1400+ feel above sea level) where humidity levels were higher and closer to our water storage tanks. However, those areas lack an accessible inlet to our water distribution system for the AWG, and the location with possible inlets to our water system lack an adequate power source. Due to the design and function of the AWG, it can be easily moved to various location for improved performance if needed and/or when those area can be modified/upgraded to accept the AWG. All other terms and conditions remail unchanged.
