- Description
- Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and other resources to complete the construction of the Watford City Substation, Stage 06, North Dakota project. The principal components of the work involve installing the following Government-furnished equipment (GFE): 230-kV power circuit breaker, 230-kV disconnecting switch with ground blade, 230-kV current transformers, 230-kV voltage transformers and one (1) vertical switchboard section; providing 230-kV surge arresters, associated electrical equipment, steel structures, concrete foundations; demolition and miscellaneous sitework, providing the grounding, bus, conduit systems, insulated conductor and cables, terminal boxes, and substation signs. The estimated magnitude of this construction project is between $250,000 and $500,000. All work is to be completed within 120 days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns. All responsible small business concerns may submit a bid which shall be considered by this Agency. This solicitation will be issued on or about July 11, 2018 and the projected bid opening date is August 14, 2018.
