Description

Page 1 of 1 SYNOPSIS: The VA Long Beach Healthcare System located at 5901 East 7th Street, Long Beach, CA 90822, has a requirement to UPGRADE Pneumatic Tube System (PTS), Buildings 126 & 164. A Firm-Fixed Price Construction Contract award is anticipated. A System for Award Management (SAM) and Center for Verification Excellence (CVE) / Vendor Information Pages (VIP) certified / registered Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) contractor shall provide all equipment, incidentals, labor, materials, parts, tools, supervision, services and expertise necessary as required by the solicitation announcement and statement of work in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local codes and regulations / standards. The magnitude of this VA construction project is estimated to be between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 USD. The Period of Performance for this project will be 30 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. This solicitation will be issued pursuant to the Veterans First Public Law 109-461 as a 100% certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. The NAICS code for this project is 811219 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, and the small business size standard is $20.5 Million. Interested bidders must be listed in the VetBiz.gov Vendor Information Pages at www.vetbiz.gov, and currently registered in the System for Award Management, www.sam.gov. Solicitation documents will be available electronically on or about Monday, July 10, 2017 at the following website: www.fedbizopps.gov or www.fbo.gov. Interested bidders should search for solicitation VA262-17-B-1151 to access solicitation documents and any amendments. A ninety (90) day bid acceptance period will be required. Bid Bond will be required. Only hardcopy of bids will be accepted. A Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit will be held; date, time, and location to be provided with the solicitation. The Government reserves the right to cancel this Solicitation, either before or after the closing date.
