- NOAA/The National Marine Fisheries Service, Northeast Fisheries Science Center, has a requirement for various specialty gasses including cylinder rental and delivery, required to run scientific equipment in support of daily operations. The requirement is for one (1) base year with four (4) option years. This is a 100% Total Small Business Set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the acquisition is 325120-Industrial Gas Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 1000 employees. The Government will solicit and award this contract using simplified acquisition procedures, in accordance with FAR subpart 13.0. It is the Government's intention to issue a single firm-fixed price purchase order on an "all or none" basis for all items. The Award will be made to the quoter whose quote meets all of the specifications and solicitation requirements. The anticipated award date is April 19, 2017. Hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor FEDBIZOPPS for the release of the RFQ, Statement of Work, and all subsequent amendments. The RFQ documents and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-94 and 2005-95, effective January 19, 2017. The solicitation will be available for download via the electronic data interchange at FedBizOpps, www.fedbizopps.gov, on or about April 6, 2015. It is the responsibility of the quoter to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors interested in doing business with the government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database, http://www.sam.gov/. Registration must be complete prior to award. All responsible small businesses may submit an offer, which will be considered.
