- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found at FAR Part 13, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The Solicitation number, N00189-16-T-Z209. The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies, in accordance with the Requirements Statement. The NAICS code is 334515and the Small Business Standard is 750. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-87 and DFARS Change Notice 20160226. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAVSUP FLC Norfolk Philadelphia Office intends to solicit NovAtel Inc. on a sole source basis. This action will result in a firm fixed-price (FFP) purchase order. The proposed acquisition is to purchase SAASM GPS s w/Power Adapters and associated parts and supplies from the manufacturer NovAtel Inc. 1120 68th Avenue N.E. Calgary AB, Canada T2E 8S5 The awarded contract for the above requirement is for commercial supplies for which the Government solicited and negotiated with only one source under the authority for FAR Part 13. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to future similar requirements, however, this notice is not intended to be a request for competitive proposals from any source.
