Description
Statement of Work Combined Synopsis Solicitation Technical Specifications: 1. The laser must be diode-pumped, solid-state. 2. The laser must provide 5 Watts of continuous-wave (CW) output power at 532 nm. 3. The spatial beam quality of laser output beam must be TEMoo with M2 between 1.0 and 1.1. 4. The spectral purity of output power must be greater than 99.9% at 532nm (when compared with 1064nm). 5. The beam diameter should be 2.3 mm ±.23 mm and have a divergence < 0.5 mrad. 6. The optical noise in the output beam must be less than 0.2% rms. 7. The power stability must be better than ±0.25% rms over a 24 hour period. 8. The output beam polarization must be better than 100:1 vertical. 9. The output beam ellipticity must be less than 10%. 10. The beam pointing stability must be less than 2 microradians per degree C. 11. The optical components in the laser head must be permanently-aligned. 12. The laser head must be sealed. 13. The laser manufacturer must offer remote service capability in order to minimize down-time and cost. 14. To accommodate the laser in the laboratory, the smallest laser possible that meets the specifications is needed. To incorporate the laser into the existing available space on a vibration isolation table, the laser head needs to be smaller than 6" wide x 24" long × 12" high. 15. The control cable that connects the laser head and the power supply must be must be at least 10 feet (3 meters) in length and dis-connectable at the laser head. 16. The power supply must be complete with its own self-contained microprocessor and not require a separate computer for operation, control or monitoring. 17. The manufacturer must quote the cost and number of replacement diode(s). 18. The laser system must work at 100 - 120 VAC, 50 - 60 Hz and have power consumption of 300 W or lower. 19. Chilled water will be available for cooling the laser head, if needed.
