- The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Installation Contracting Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD INTENDS TO SOLE SOURCE under solicitation number W91ZLK-15-T-0350. This procurement action is being conducted under FAR part 13 and 6.302-1 with the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), to Life Technologies Corporation located at 3175 Staley Rd., Grand Island, NY 14072, as the only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the requirement; therefore proposals cannot be submitted directly on this notice. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334516. The resultant purchase order will include all applicable provisions and clauses in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83. The solicitation will start on August 5, 2015 and end on August 10, 2015 at 2:00 pm Eastern Time, or as otherwise posted at http://www.fbo.gov. (FedBizOpps.Gov). This requirement is for a the purchase of Taq polymerase and consumables associated with running the 7900 and 12K flex PCR systems. The Government contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract. Specifications are listed within the CLINS (see below). The requirement is to procure the following items: CLIN: 0001 Platinum TAQ DNA Polymerase 5000 RXNs: (Qty. 15) 384 Well Rnase P INST Verif: (Qty. 3) FO Optical Adhesive Covers: (Qty. 40) FG, 384-Well Clear RXN Plate (Qty. 40) One-Step Supermix W/ROX (Qty. 10) This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes, however, all information received by August July 10, 2015 will be considered by the Government. All interested vendors must respond by July 10, 2015, 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Responses shall be submitted to the point of contact Pamela Paradis via e-mail, pamela.s.paradis.civ@mail.mil. The e-mail subject line shall state: W91ZLK-15-T-0350 Notice of Intent to Sole Source. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
