- N00164-11-G-WS46-0006 - SOLE SOURCE -ELECTRONIC ATTACK UNIT (EAU) EA-6B Prowler and EA-18G Growler- FSC 5865 - NAICS 334511 Anticipated Issue Date 30 DEC 2014 - Anticipated Closing Date 19 JAN 2015 - Time 2:00 PM EDT THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER N00164-11-G-WS46-0006 Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division plans to enter into a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Job Order (JO) with Mnemonics Inc., 3900 Dow Road, Suite J, Melbourne FL 32934-9255 for engineering support services. This JO will be under a Basic Ordering Agreement established for the procurement of supplies/services required to support NSWC Crane in its roles as the Repair Depot Activity, Logistics Management Information Activity and Fleet Support Activity for the Electronic Attack Unit (EAU). This requirement will be negotiated on a sole-source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The basis for the sole source is the requirement for the equipment to integrate with existing equipment already installed on the aircraft in terms of form, fit, function and compatibility. The Government does not possess rights to the technical data necessary to manufacture required spares or to develop the necessary software and firmware. Only Mnemonics personnel have the knowledge and access to proprietary data necessary to provide the required engineering support. No solicitation will be available at FedBizOpps and no hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
