Description

Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Four Star Blasting Mat Inc. Lebanon Junction, KY 40150 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(iii), "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." This requirement is for installation sidewall blasting mats at Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune, North Carolina The company is the only one who provides the large size and dimensions of the blasting mats required. A formal solicitation was not developed but the informal Request for Quote (M67001-14-Q-0215) will be provided upon request. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE ( PROPOSALS OR QUOTES ). Interested firms may submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement. All responsible sources may submit a response which if timely received, will be considered by the agency. Responses must be received at the Contracting Office no later than 10:00 AM EDST, 19 June 2014, via facsimile or email.
