- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The 27th Special Operations Contracting Squadron, Cannon AFB, New Mexico intends to award a sole source purchase order to the San Antonio Lighthouse. The San Antonio Lighthouse will be providing improved outer tactical vests. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.501 and FAR 6.302-5(b)(2). Through the market research it was found that this acquisition can be fulfilled through the madatory source, AbilityOne. This sole source contract does not require a written justification or approval, as stated in FAR 6.302-5(c)(2)(i).The anticipated award date is 27 May 2014. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above. Deadline date for the submittals is 23 May 2014 at 12 pm Mountain Standard Time. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
