Description

Description: This is a pre-solicitation notice for a commercial item acquisition and will be conducted in accordance FAR 12 and 13 in accordance with IL 90-99-4 (http://www1.va.gov/oamm/oa/ars/policyreg/ils/il99_4.cfm). The purpose of the Solicitation shall be to provide Software subscription for "Get With The Guidelines-Stroke Patient Management Tool (PMT)". Information Resource Management Service requires Software for Get With The Guidelines ®- Stroke which is part of the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association's collaborative performance improvement program, demonstrated to improve adherence to evidence-based care of patients hospitalized with stroke. The program provides hospitals with a Web-based Patient Management Tool Miami VA HealthCare System (MVAHS) intends to solicit proposals in accordance with terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, and schedules of the solicitation and award a contract on a competitive basis under the authority of 38 U.S.C. 8153 and VHA Directive 1663. The contract resulting from the solicitation shall be base year plus four (4) one (1) year option exercised at the discretion of the government. The electronic solicitation will be announced on or about February 6, 2014. The offeror will be responsible for downloading all solicitation documents, amendments and other documents from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website (www.fbo.gov) without further notices from the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Activity 8 - Miami. All questions must be submitted in writing, before closing date and time of solicitation, to the following email address: kevin.scott@va.gov.
