- In accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS) 3.2.2.4, this announcement is for informational purposes only and is not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal. The purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis for FAA s decision to contract with a selected source via single-source procedures. The FAA intends to contract with Raytheon Company, Fullerton, California, for a 9-month extension to the current WAAS Follow-On contract. This extension will permit the continuation of services until award of the FAA s Dual Frequency Contract. Raytheon Company is uniquely positioned to provide the additional services required for this bridge effort. Services to be provided are consistent with the current Statement of Work and will include engineering support and second-level engineering services.
