Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to Innogenetics, Inc., 1111 Alderman Drive, Suite 200, Alpharetta, GA 30005-4143 for procurement of commercial reagents which is anticipated to be awarded for one base year and four (4) one-year options. These reagents are Inno-LIPA HPV Genotyping Kits (20 tests to a kit, catalog #81073), which detect 27 independent types of HPV and genotypes assays on fragmented DNA from formalin fixed tissues; these DNA specimens extracted from formalin fixed tissues are fragmented to smaller than 450 bp size. This contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responses received within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any response should be emailed to purchasing agent at lml3@cdc.gov by March 26, 2013.
