Description

PLEASE NOTE: THE ARCHIVE DATE DOES NOT REFLECT SOLICITATION DUE DATE. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking competent and qualified construction contractors interested in providing offers for this project. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment to perform the project in accordance with the contract clauses, specifications, and drawings. Work will consist of, but not limited to the following: 1. Construct a 600 square feet new guard house and related site improvements. The new guard house shall be approximately 18 �x30 �x12 � plate height, reinforced CMU color split face block walls and glass windows including four doors supporting light gauge metal steel truss system, hip roof on all four sides with metal deck, and standing seam metal roof. The guard house has a 9 inch structural concrete slab with concrete grade beams supported over 6 undreamed piers. This project includes electrical, mechanical, plumbing,electrical room, exterior mechanical room, and security services related items. 2. Related civil site work consists of removing and replacing 3,500 square feet of new 6 � concrete paving. 3. Relocate 3-light poles and related accessories, signs, pavement markings, security fence and arm gates, (optional) walk trail, bollards and landscaping. All work shall be in accordance with the specifications and drawings. 1. This project is set-aside for Small Business. 2. Contract performance time is 100 calendar days. 3. The North American Industry Classifications System (NAICS) is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction. The small business size standard is $33.5 Million. 4. The estimated price range for this procurement is between $400,000.00 and $600,000.00. 5. A mandatory site visit will be conducted approximately one week after issuance of the solicitation. The date, time, location, and point of contact will be provided in the solicitation package. 6. The project is located at 4005 Greens Road., Houston, Texas 77032. AN OFFEROR MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING GO/NO-GO CRITERIA IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A SOLICIATION PACKAGE: a. Complete and return the attached Business Declaration and Security Notice to Prospective Offerors forms. b. Interested contractors must have successfully completed similar projects both in dollar amount and scope of work. Provide a list of at least 3 past or current contracts/projects your firm performed in the last 5 years. Offeror shall identify the contracting agency, (FAA, Other Federal, State, local governments, and private). Provide the contract number or project identifier, which includes a point of contact and phone number. This information provided will also be used as part of the responsibility determination. NOTE: Contractors must have active registration in System for Award Management (SAM) before award can be made. Contractors must register at www.sam.gov/. FAILURE TO SUBMIT ALL REQUIRED INFORMATION WILL DEEM THE REQUEST FOR SOLICITATION AS NON-RESPONSIVE.
