THIS IS A SPECIAL NOTICE NOLY: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Department of Veterans' Affairs, James A. Haley Veteran's Hospital (JAHVH) located in Tampa, FL intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source requirements contract with Mercury Medical for the following items: BQ-CSD08653 1 Capnostream monitor, with Masimo SP02 and Oridion C02 11 EA BQ-011782 2 Capnostream Quick Release Pole Clamp Kit 11 EA Installation 1 JB The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6. 302-1. interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all information received by 10: 00 a.m. EST, 18 July 2012, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be used for future requirements, NAICS 339112 with a size standard of 100 employees. No solicitation document is available. Telephone requests will not be accepted.
