Description

The Louis Stokes Cleveland Veterans Administration (VA) Medical Center, 10701 East Blvd, Cleveland, Ohio 44106, is seeking potential sources for Orthopedic Surgeon. The Orthopedic Surgeon shall perform the following clinical services: (1) performance of Spine related patient examination in a clinic environment 8 hours/week (2) Performance of Spine related surgical procedures in an operative environment, 10 hours/week (3) Post- operative evaluation, care, procedure evaluation and clinical consultation regarding complications of procedures performed 8 hours /week. The company must employ Orthopedic Surgeon who hold or are eligible be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic or Neurological surgery. The NAICS code for this requirement is 621111, Size Standard $10 M. It is the VA's intent to solicit proposals and award a contract on a competitive basis pending availability of funds. The contract period will be twelve (12) months from date of award. The solicitation will be release on or about July 18, 2011. Telephone inquires will not be accepted. No response to this notification is necessary. The sole purpose is to provide interested parties with a release update for the solicitation.
