Description

MARKET RESEARCH/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of vendors capable of providing a consolidated service contract for designated government-owned medical and dental equipment at the Naval Hospital Jacksonville Florida (NAVHOSPJAX) and its outlying Naval Branch Health Clinics (NBHC). The Contractor shall provide preventive and corrective maintenance services for all equipment listed on Technical Exhibit 1. The Contractor shall maintain the equipment within the original equipment manufacturers (OEM) specifications, in accordance with the US, State, and Local law and regulations, US Navy regulations, instructions, and Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) requirements. Please see the attachment Technical Exhibit 1 for equipment listing and requirements. The anticipated period(s) will span three (3) years consisting of a one (1) year base period and two (2) twelve month option periods beginning 09 September 2012. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. It is anticipated that the Request for Proposal will be issued in the mid June 2012 time frame. Interested vendors are requested to submit a capability statement outlining their ability to meet or exceed this potential requirement no later than 4:00 pm (Eastern Standard Time), 24 May 2012, stating their business size, as well as a point of contact. The government will use the results of this announcement to determine whether the acquisition of the above described requirement should be solicited as a small business set-aside, or whether full and open competitive procedures should be utilized. The Government will not pay or provide reimbursement for any costs incurred in the preparation or delivery of the request for information.
