- The subject requirement is for the acquisition of 2 NSNs with various item descriptions and end items. The major FSCs of this requirement are: 6120 and 6140. An Indefinite Quantity Long-Term Contract with a base year and 1 option year is anticipated, at the discretion of the Government. The total duration base plus option years shall not exceed 2 years. Items will be shipped to various stock locations within conus. Increments and delivery schedule will be noted on the RFP. Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees for CLINs 0001 and CLINs 0002. This solicitation is unrestriected using other than full & open competition based on 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). FOB Destination and Inspection at Destination is requested. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date of 4/19/12. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policiies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Military and commercial specifications cannot be provded by DLA Land and Maritime. Hard copies are not available. There are no technical drawings/bid sets available. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and any other factors as listed in the solicitation. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. Trade Agreements Act applies.
