- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract on or about June 15, 2012. This is a Small Business Set-Aside and the designated NAICS is 532412 with a Size Standard of $7.0 Million. Solicitation W9127S-12-T-0036 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) utilizing Acquisition of Commercial Items per FAR 12. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-56. This is not a sealed bid and no public opening will be conducted. THE LITTLE ROCK DISTRICT, CORPS OF ENGINEERS IS REQUESTING QUOTES (RFQ) TO PROVIDE RENTAL OF TWO (2) 30 TON RT HYDRAULIC CRANES, TWO (2) JGL ARTICULATING MAN LIFTS, FOUR (4) LIGHT TOWERS AND 1 AIR COMPRESSOR FOR DEWATERING OPERATIONS ON THE MCCLELLAN-KERR ARKANSAS RIVER NAVIGATION SYSTEM, RUSSELLVILLE, ARKANSAS. THE SOLICITATION NUMBER W9127S-12-T-0036 HAS BEEN SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS WITH A DESIGNATED NAICS CODE 532412 AND A SIZE STANDARD OF $7.0 MILLION. This solicitation is issued via Internet at the Army's Single Face to Industry Website (ASFI) and the Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) Website. It is each offeror's responsibility to download the solicitation from the internet website. No paper copies will be provided. Notification of amendments shall be made via the Internet as well. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the ASFI or FBO website daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. All offerors are encouraged to visit the Army's Single Face to Industry Website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi and www.fbo.gov to view other business opportunities.
