- RECOVERY ACT - Domiciliary - Project 552-09-237 - The solicitationfor this requirement is now ready and on line at www.fedbizopps. The BidOpening date is September 24, 2009 at 2:00 PM, local time. The bidopening will be held in the conference room on the first floor ofbuilding 408, at the VA Medical Center, 4100 West Third Street, Dayton,OH 45428. This is a 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran OwnedSmall Business (SDVOSB). All other information in the originalannouncement below applies. All documents are in electronic format andno hard copies will be issued. A one-time only site visit will be heldSeptember 9, 2009 at 10:00 AM, local time. All interested parties mustpre-register to attend. If you are not pre-registered, you will beasked to leave the premises. The site visit information is in thesolicitation. Do not call and request to be signed up for the sitevisit. RECOVERY ACT - Domiciliary - Project R552-09-237 - This requirement isfor the contractor to provide, but not limited to providing all thenecessary general construction, materials, labor, tools, equipment,insurance, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical work, fireprotection, hazardous abatement work and supervision to Renovate ThirdFloor, Building 410. Renovate space in the north wing of the firstfloor to create a food preparation area, serving line, and eating areafor building residents. Renovation in the east wing of the third floorwill provide space for offices, multipurpose and meeting rooms andrenovated bathrooms to support these, areas, including access from theelevator lobby to the renovated space on the east wing. Work is to beperformed at the VA Medical Center, 4100 West Third Street, Dayton, OH45428. All work is to be completed in accordance with thespecifications and drawings. SET-ASIDE INFORMATION: This solicitationwill be issued pursuant to the authority of Public Law 109-461 (38 USC8127) and is a 100% Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned SmallBusiness (SDVOSB). The SDVOSB must be small under the relevant NorthAmerican Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code 236220 and MUSTbe registered and able to be verified in the following websites at bidopening: http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov, http://ccr.gov,https:vets100.vets.dol.gov, http://orca.bpn.gov and dun and bradstreetto be eligible for award. Bidders MUST ensure registration in thesewebsites are accurate and have not expired prior to bid opening date.Project magnitude is between $1,000,000.00 - $2,000,000.00. The NAICScode is 236220 and the business size standard is $33.5 million. BONDS inform of Bid, Payment and Performance will be required. SITE VISIT: willbe MANDATORY and that information will be in the solicitation package.The solicitation documents will be posted at www.fbo.gov on or aboutJuly 28, 2009, with bid opening approximately 30 days later.Dissemination of the specifications is limited to electronic medium.Drawings and Specifications will be available electronically with thesolicitation documents. SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS: Amendments to the solicitation will beposted at www.fbo.gov Paper copies of the amendment will NOT beindividually mailed. By registering in the "watchlist" and any otherappropriate sections, you will be notified by e-mail of any newamendments that have been issued and posted. No other notificationamendment will be provided.
