- This requirement is for Enhanced Night Vision Goggles (ENVG) and associated spare parts. The ENVG provides enhanced vision during degraded battlefield visibility conditions, enabling accurate detection, acquisition, and engagement of targets in all battlefield conditions. The RDECOM Contacting Center intends to issue a DRAFT Request for Proposal (RFP) W91CRB-09-R-0089 on or about 28 August 2009 for ENVG and related spare parts. Prospective offerors may review and comment on the Draft RFP. An Industry Day is being planned for mid/late September 2009. All potential offerors are encouraged to attend the Industry Day. The date of the Industry Day will be posted when it is confirmed. The Government intends to award a minimum of two five-year Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contracts as a result of this solicitation. Awards will be made to the best value proposals, which are determined to be the most beneficial to the Government based upon the criteria set forth in the solicitation. Proposals shall be submitted in hard copy and electronic format on Compact Disc (CD) as stated in the solicitation. The official release of the Request for Proposal will be posted on the Internet at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website located at the following: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. The on-line documents will include all documents of the solicitation. Amendments (if any) will be posted on the same location as the solicitation. The complete solicitation package, including amendments, should be received and reviewed prior to submitting a response. It is the responsibility of all those responding to obtain all amendments and/or applicable documents. It is anticipated that the FINAL RFP will be issued on or about 30 October 2009.
