- The project consists primarily of furnishing all plant, labor and materials for installation of a new culvert by boring and jacking to replace the existing I.C. Culvert, to include excavation, backfill, and disposal of materials, stone protection, providing a flap gate, removing the existing gate hardware, removing inlet and outlet headwalls, grouting existing culvert full, filling inlet and outlet channels, establishment of turf, and environmental protection. There are twelve (12) sheets in the set of drawings. This project will be a Hubzone Set-Aside procurement for small business concerns. For the purpose of this procurement to qualify as a small business concern, in addition to being independently owned and operated and not dominate in the field of operation in which it is bidding on Government contracts, the concern must have had average annual sales receipts for the preceding three fiscal years not exceeding $33.5 million. The supplies or services to be procured in this solicitation are classified under NAICS 237310. This estimated cost of the proposed work is between $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00. Solicitation will issue on/about 20 May 2009 and bid opening date will be on/about 23 June 2009. A copy of this solicitation may be downloaded from the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business Web Site at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. Offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), including the NAICS code they are bidding under, in order to receive a Government contract award.
