- Flight Medicine Provider: Referenced solicitation number above will change in the upcoming months. The 48th Contracting Squadron is seeking sources interested in providing Flight Medicine Provider services at RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom. These services will be temporary and for a period between 30 to 90 days only. The Contractor shall have successful completion of an accredited residency in family practice, internal medicine, occupational medicine, emergency medicine, preventive medicine or aerospace medicine. Current board certification by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine (AOBFM) or UK equivalent is required. The draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) which contains more details is anticipated to be posted here on 16 March 09. All interested parties are requested to submit a letter of interest to the 48th Contracting Office (see above address) no later than 30 March 09 to ensure addition to the prospective offerors list.
