- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Coordinating Center for Infectious Diseases (CCID), National Center for Infectious Diseases (NCID), Influenza Division is seeking to award a sole source commercial purchase order for a high throughput liquid handler and thermocyler or rapid test of neuraminidase inhibitors resistance surveillance and associated accessories. The Government has determined that the following equipment provided solely by Eppendorf North America is the only equipment that can satisfy our requirement for a minimum capacity of 12-position deck, and a small lab footprint. Equipment required: one (1) epMotion 5075 LH PC-Control Comp, Catalog No. 9600020111; one (1) Dispensing Tool TS 50, 1-50UL, Catalog No. 960001010; one (1) each Dispensing Tool TM 50-8, 1-50UL, Catalog No. 960001044; one (1) each Dispensing Tool TS 300, 20-300UL, Catalog No. 960001028; one (1) each Dispensing Tool TM 300-8, 20-300UL, Catalog No. 960001052; one (1) each Dispensing Tool TS 1000, 40-1000UL, Catalog No. 960001036; one (1) each Dispensing Tool TM 1000-8, 40-1000UL, Catalog No. 960001061; one (1) each epMotion Resevoir Rack, Catalog No. 960002148; one (1) each Thermoblock for PCR 96, Catalog No. 960002083; one (1) each Tcrack 24Xsafelock 1.5/2ML, Catalog No. 960002075; one (1) each epMotion installation and training, Catalog No. 955989030; one (1) each Thermal Module 5075, Catalog No. 960002181; and one (1) each Gripper, Catalog No. 960002270. Subject to availability of funds, the Government intends to Request quotes on 27 August, with award by 15 September 2007. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. Firms that believe they can provide the requirement are encouraged to identify themselves and provide written notification to the Contracting Officer within fifteen (15) days from the date of this synopsis. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
