Description
The United States Department of Labor (DOL) is amending the following OMB Circular A-76 announcement, which originally appeared in FedBizOps on December 30, 2005 as R—A76 Standard Competition CA Study DOL, OCFO Finance & Accounting Services (Reference Number: DOL-OCFO-Finance-Accounting-Svcs) and then later re-posted on FedBizOps as R—A76 Standard Competition, DOL Multi-Agency Finance & Accounting Services. By this announcement, please be advised that approximately 15 FTE positions assigned to the Employment and Training Administration (ETA) are no longer included in the universe of this multi-agency competition. By this notification, please be advised that the Mine Safety and Health Administration’s (MSHA) participation (approximately 7 FTE positions) in this in-progress public-private competition is suspended until such time as a proper determination can be made, and reflected in an updated DOL/MSHA 2005 FAIR Act Inventory submission, regarding which specific MSHA positions are of a commercial nature and should be included in the competition, and which specific positions involving the conduct of inherently governmental work activities should be excluded from the competition. A notice will be published in FedBizOps, following the resolution of any and all appeals, when a determination is rendered regarding the scope of MSHA’s participation in the competition. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (03-MAY-2006). IT ACTUALLY APPEARED OR REAPPEARED ON THE FEDBIZOPPS SYSTEM ON 16-JUL-2007, BUT REAPPEARED IN THE FTP FEED FOR THIS POSTING DATE. PLEASE CONTACT fbo.support@gsa.gov REGARDING THIS ISSUE.
