- The Directorate of Contracting (DOC), Fort Campbell, KY, has a requirement for Identicard Secure Access Control System Equipment with installation and training for Blanchfield Army Community Hospital Pharmacy and Lapointe Health Clinic Pharmacy, Fort Campbell, KY. Equipment list is attached. The procurement will be conducted on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The agency intends to enter into a firm-fixed-price p urchase order with South Western Communications, Inc., located in Nashville, Tennessee. The basis for restricting competition is that South Western Communications is the authorized dealer and installer for the Kentucky and Tennessee area. NAICS code for this procurement is 561621and the small business size standard is $11.5M. This sole source requirement will be procured under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition, and awarded on an unrestricted basis. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and solicitation will not be issued; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 10 days from the date of the publication of this synopsi s. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with requirements listed. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upo n responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. See Numbered Note 22. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the source negotiation with South Western Communications, Inc. Responses are due by 30 Ju ne 2006, 4:00 P.M.
