Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), St. Inigoes, MD intends to solicit a purchase order on a sole source basis to Tracstar Systems Inc., located at 2400 N Orange Blossom Trl, Orlando, Fl 32804 to provide MVS960 Series Antenna in support of the Military District of Washington (MDW). The items to be procured include the following: CLIN 0001 P/N: MVS960 .96 Meter Transportable Antenna (QTY: 1); CLIN 0002 P/N: IDIRECT INFINITY 7350 Series Modem (QTY 1). This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority 41 U.S.C. 256(c) and 10 U.S.C. 2034(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source. The MVS960 Series Antenna meets the form, fit, and function of the MDW ERV project presently fielded. Tracstar Systems Inc. is the sole manufacturer and distributor of the required antennas. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties may submit information within 15 days after synopsis is published and will be considered by this agency. A determination not to compete this procurement action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. The Government will not pay for any information received. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334220 .
