The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov Website on or about August 24, 2004. TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. PLEASE DO NOT CALL OR EMAIL INQUIRIES REGARDING THE SOLICITATION UNTIL IT HAS BEEN POSTED. The National Park Service (NPS) in cooperation with the Chesapeake Bay Program has created the Chesapeake Bay Gateways Network, a partnership system of national parks, state parks, refuges, museums, historoic communities and water trails throughout the Bay Watershed. To further capabilities of the Gateways Network, National Park Service is exploring the development and marketing of products that feature the cultural, historical and natural themes of the Chesapeake Bay region. National Park Service is soliciting for a firm-fixed price contract. The contractor will cordinate several aspects of media and communications for the Chesapeake Bay Gateways Network (CBGN), including: primary responsibility for coordinating media relations, including coordinating efforts with state staff who are primarily responsible for leading travel media relations on behalf of CBGN; developing materials, press kits, templates and story ideas; and developing materials and communications internal to the CBGN partnership, such as a newsltetter and Gateways orientation kits. Details regarding specific requirements for this project will be provided in Solicitation N4250040113. Prospective offerers desiring to do business with the National Park Service are requested to register at the National Business Center. Federal Acquistion Regulations (FAR) 2001-16 requires all contractors to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database(http://www.ccr.gov) prior to any award. NAICS: 541810
