Description

2004-Q-13307 Co-Sponsorship This is for information purposes only. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) plans to award a sole source purchase order to the Diabetes Technology Society, 1157 Chess Drive, Suite 110, Foster City, CA 94404. The objective of this conference is to provide partial support for non-federal conferences in the areas of health promotion and disease prevention programs and is designed to bring together scientists and clinicians to accelerate the development of new technology and products for patients with diabetes. The conference is scheduled for October 28, 2004-October 30, 2004, to be held in Philadelphia, PA at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is August 24, 2004. CDC reserves the right to have a staff member serve as an active participant on the conference planning committee and to approve or reject the full agenda, press events, promotional materials (including press releases), speaker selection, and reports or proceedings resulting from the conference. CDC also reserves the right to terminate sponsorship of any portion of the conference with which it does not occur.
