Description: The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) intends to award a contract on a sole source basis, in accordance with FAR Part 12, Commercial Items, to Scholastic Inc., 1615 Palisades Drive, Carrollton, TX 75007, to provide the Literacy Place-1995 Edition. This requirement will replace and replenish the existing educational materials currently used in the DoDEA schools and will include staff training and development. This notice is for informational purposes only. NO SEPARATE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED. Responses received within five (5) days of this publication of this notice will be considered in determining whether or not to place this order on a sole source basis. NOTE 22 SHALL APPLY TO THIS PROCUREMENT.
