Description

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with the Otis Elevator Company, 2916 Business Center Drive, Alexandria, VA 22314, for the operation, maintenance and repair of the Otis elevators located in NRC's One White Flint North building. The period of performance for this contract will be one year, with four (4) one-year options. The Otis Elevator Company developed proprietary software for program analysis and diagnostics on its elevators. This is the only known qualified source able to process the knowledge and expertise to perform the required work. This is not a request for competitive proposals. Requests for copies of the solicitation will not be honored unless the respondent is able to provide evidence showing its capability to perform the required services.
