Description

HQ AMC/DOYR intends to negotiate on a sole source basis for commercial service with GE Ion Track (formerly Ion Track Instruments, LLC.), 205 Lowell Street, Wilmington, MA 01887 for the acquisition of Repair and Overhaul Service for 8 GE Ion Track Itemiser desktop trace detectors in use at 8 locations worldwide. This service can only be performed by GE Ion Track due to their patented ITMS technology, used in their Itemisers. Delivery of repaired or replacement equipment is required F.O.B. Destination. The proposed contract will be firm fixed price and awarded using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures as outlined in FAR Subpart 13.5. NAICS Code is 811219 and FSC is 6665. The proposed contract will be for the period, 01 October 2003 through 30 September 2004, with four one-year option periods. Requests for Proposal (RFP), F11626-03-R-0011 will be issued on or about 09 July 2003.
