Description

The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supervision and equipment and perform all operations necessary to accomplish all work complete in place, as shown on the specifications and drawings, to furnish and install a 5-Ton Bridge Crane System for the West bay in Eason Hangar, Building 90700. The hoist and system shall be capable of holding 10,000 pounds. This system shall serve a C-130 type aircraft. Work shall include but not be limited to Concrete, Structural Steel, Crane, Electrical, and other incidental work as may be necessary to make the facility operational. The work shall be fully complete in accordance with the Contract Documents. This is a "straddle bid." Funds are not presently available for this job. If adequate funding does not become available by 30 Sep 2002, the resultant contract may be awarded when the next fiscal year funds become available. This is an unrestricted acquisition. Estimated magnitude for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. This solicitation will be available only via the Internet at the following address: http://www.fedbizops.gov/.
