Description

NA Preparation of Personal Property for Shipment, Government Storage, Drayage and Related Services and Performing Intra-City or Intra-Area Movement, Fort Rucker, Alabama and vicinity for the period 01 January 2003 through 31 December 2003 with three option ye ars. Anticipated issue date of solicitation and historical data will be on/about 19 July 2002 with bid opening on/about 20 August 2002. The proposed acquisition listed is a 100 precent small business set-aside for Small Business Concerns whose average ann ual receipts of the concern and its affiliates for its preceding three fiscal years must not exceed $18,500,000. Each bidder shall submit with its bid a Bid Bond/Bid Guarantee (Standard Form 24) with good and sufficient surety or surties acceptable to the Government, or other security in the form of twenty precent (20%) of the bid price or $3,000,000, whichever is lesser. Additionally, the bidder to whom award is made shall submit within 10 days after award, a Performance Bond (Standard Form 1418) and a Pa yment Bond (Standard Form 1418). The penal sum of such bonds shall be one hundred precent (100%) of the contract price. Performance and Payment Bonds shall be frunished by the contractor to the Contracting officer, prior to commencement of contract perfo rmance.
