Description: NA The Aviation and Missile Command's Industrial Operations Division (IOD) has the mission and function of providing technical management and engineering analysis related to design changes for AMCOM supported weapon systems. Included in this mission are the functions of Value Engineering,Industrial Base monitoring, and the Tech Loop. The IOD has also developed an Automated Inventory Tracking System (AITS). The AITS is ready to be field tested. The IOD requires support for a physical inventory to determine adequancy of the developed AITS and for adjustments to the system as required.
